Clarence Reynolds "Sonny" Robertson

Services for Clarence (Sonny) R. Robertson, 69, a resident of Scott Village Apts. , Stamping Ground, were conducted from the Harrod Brothers Funeral Home, Stamping Ground at 11:30 a.m. Friday. Burial followed in the family lot in the Stamping Ground Masonic Cemetery. He died at the VA Hospital on Cooper Dr. in Lexington, KY at 12:05 a.m. last Tuesday after a long illness. A native of Bourbon County he was a retired mechanic at Brawner's Gulf Service Station in Frankfort, a US Army WWII veteran, a member of Stamping Ground Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Julia Mae Vickers Robertson, Stamping Ground; a son, Danny L. Robertson, Birmingham, Alabama; four sisters, Louise Toles and Mamie Roberts, both of Frankfort, Mary Waltman, Lexington and Elizabeth Roberts, Ft.Walton Beach, Fla; a granddaughter Amy Robertson, Birmingham, Alabama; several nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Richard Thomas and Gertrude Cummins Robertson.
