William Joseph Patrick, 71, or Rowell died Thursday at Jefferson Hospital at Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

He was born at Herbine, Cleveland County, the son of the late James Monroe and Celia Jane Johnson Patrick.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivor’s include his wife; Mrs. Gillian Hall Patrick, four sons; Wilburn Patrick of Calmer Hugh James Patrick, Billy Patrick, and Bobby Patrick, all of Rowell, four daughters; Mrs. Charlene Jones of Rye, Mrs. Glenn Brittain of Pasadena, Texas, Mrs. Maxine Reed of Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. Jean Pierce of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, a brother; Jim Patrick of Herbine, two sisters, Mrs. Alice Patrick Jacobs of Dumas, and Mrs. Georgia Patrick Reed of Malvern, 25 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services on Saturday, at 2:30 p. m. at Center Missionary Baptist Church at Rowell, Cleveland County, Arkansas.

Burial was in the Rowell Cemetery, by South Funeral Home of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. OBIT provided by contributor Linda Newman
