Charles L. Ritt, 76, owner of the Acme Mirror and Glass Works, 23S E. Marquette, died suddenly Wednesday afternoon following a heart attack. He lived at 311 La Vega Rd.
Ritt, a resident here for 34 years after coming from Chicago, was a former Police Judge, Justice of the Peace and former owner of the Albuquerque Glass and Mirror Works. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and the Elks Lodge 461.
Survivors include his widow; two sons, Carl, of Albuquerque, and Henry of Kansas City; five daughters, Mrs. Anita Thoman, of Albuquerque, and Clara, Gertrude, Katherine and Margaret of New Orleans; three brothers, Otto, Tony and Edward; and a sister, Mrs. Louise Schuler, all of Chicago.
