Ann A. Martin, 97, of Hackensack, N.J., former grammar schoolteacher in Dutchess County, died on Feb. 17, 1999. Born in Stanford, she was a member of the Grange. Her husband, Harold, predeceased her. Survivors include two daughters, Mae Mitchell of Montvale, N.J., and Lois Smith of Fanwood, N.J.; seven grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held at St. Andrews Church Cemetery, Staten Island.
