Henry Green
David Henry Green was born in Allen County, Kansas, August 22, 1881, and died in Pender, Nebraska, June 5, 1924, at the age of 42 years, 9 months, and 13 days.
At the age of twelve years he moved with his parents to Oklahoma. He lived there until he reached his majority, then he came to Iowa, and later to Nebraska. He was married, December 1913 to Mrs. Dora Kelly. They are the possessors of one daughter, Irene. They lived in Bancroft for five years and then came to Pender where they have lived for about nine years. Mr. Green's family of three brothers and one half brother, and five sisters and one half sister are all living. Two brothers and two sisters were not present at the funeral. His mother died in 1904, but his father is still living at the age of 85. Mr. Green had an attack of penumonia about a year ago, after which he never was quite himself. Since last Christmas he has gradually failed. He fell asleep last Thursday night from which he never awoke. The funeral services were conducted in the Presbyterian Church of Pender, on Monday, June 9, by Dr. B.M. Long. Interment is in the Bancroft Cemetery. The sympathy of the community is extended to all the family, especially to Mrs. Green and Irene.

Henry Green, well known Pender auto mechanic, died at his home in Pender, Wednesday morning. He has been ill for some time.
