-CHESTER -- The funeral for Mr. Donnie Ray Baker of 1362 Neelys Creek Road will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel. The Rev. Ronnie Helms and the Rev. Andy Simpson will officiate and burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Road.
-Mr. Baker, 60, died Monday, Dec. 17, 2007, at Piedmont Medical Center.
-Born in Camden, he was a son of the late Paul and Betty Lou Cauthen Baker. Mr. Baker was of the Baptist faith and was employed as a supervisor with Buice-Smith Construction Company.
-Survivors include his wife, Patricia Wright Baker; four sons, Bobby Baker, Darrell Black, Eddie Black and James Black, all of Rock Hill; two daughters, Crystal Baker and Teresa Black, both of Rock Hill; a brother, Larry Baker of Takoma Park, Md.; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
-The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, 355 East White St., Rock Hill, and at other times at the home of his daughter, Teresa Black, 1241 Barringer Road, Rock Hill.
-Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
