Ref: Tuesday, 2 Nov. 1967, Democrat, Ft. Madison, IA, pg. 7 - Montrose, IA - Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday in the Trinity Methodist church here for Mrs. Eliza Emmaline Barnard, 80, Keokuk, who died in Graham hospital there, Friday.
The Rev. Stephen Cree officiated. Burial was in the Montrose cemetery. The DeJong Funeral Home, Keokuk, was in charge.
Mrs. Barnard was born Oct. 1, 1887, in Montrose. On March 14, 1907, in Montrose, she was married to Ferdie Barnard, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Montrose Trinity Methodist church.
Her only survivors are nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Her parents were John and Eliza Jane (Scott) Hamilton.
