On Wednesday December 21, Mr. L. J. Burgamy died at his home 6 miles east of Warthen. He was an old citizen of Washington County being 77 years old. He leaves 8 sons and one daughter to mourn his death. He was buried at the family burial ground where he was laid to rest by the side of his wife who died not quite three months ago. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Robert Dudley. He had many friends and relatives in this county who learned of his death with sincere sorrow.
