EDEN, Feb. 1 - Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Linam, 85 will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Eden Baptist Church with the Rev. A. B. Reese. minister, officiating.
A life-long resident of West Texas, Mrs. Linam died at 2 a.m. Tuesday at Clinic-Hospital in San Angelo after an extended illness.
Mrs. Linam was born May 15, 1869, in Menard County, as Miss Minnie Kemp. She married Andrew W. Linam in 1889 at Paint Rock and the couple made their home on their ranch west of Eden.
For the last few years she had lived in Eden with a daughter, Mrs. Lelia McWilliams. He(sic) husband died in 1933.
The Rev. Boyd Harris, Methodist minister, will assist at services. Burial will be in Eden Cemetery under direction of Day-Loveless Funeral Home.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. McWilliams and Mrs. J. H. Floyd of Baytown; one son, Tommy Linam of Eden; one sister, Mrs. J. V.(sic) Stout of Elk City, Okla.; one brother, M. C. Kemp of Paint Rock; seven grandchildren, eight-great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mike Ellis, Bill Ellis, Frank Jacoby, John Jacoby, Winrow Jacoby and Zack Murry, all of Eden.
