Rites Wednesday
For Mrs. Jones
Mrs. Eldora F. Jones, 101 South 15th Street, Lanett, died at 11:45 p.m. Monday at George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital, Langdale. Mrs. Jones had been in declining health for the past six months.
A native and life long resident of Chambers County, Mrs. Jones was born Feb. 22, 1889. She was a member of the Huguley Congregational Christian Church.
Funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Johnson-Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel, Langdale, with the Rev. Harry Kirkley and the Rev. Weymon Crumpton officiating. Burial will be in the Shawmut Cemetery.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. John Foster, West Point; four daughters, Mrs. Peg Phillips, Mrs. William R. Willis and Mrs. Ralph Bowers, all of Lanett, and Mrs. Edwin Pperry, Columbus; three sons, G. D. Jones, Daville, Ill., Bobby Lee Jones, Huguley and Larry Jones, Lanett; a sister Mrs. Jack Walker, West Point; a brother Kennon Foster, West Point, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildern.
