Funeral services for Johnnie Mae Moye, age 88, were held December 18,2006 at Pace Funeral Home, with Rev. Mott, Rev. Rex Hendrix and Rev. Joe Sanders officiating.Interment followed at Big Sandy Cemetery, in Dallardsville.Johnnie Mae was born October 17,1918 in the Emhouse Community and graduated from Slocum High School. She was a member of the Big Sandy Community Church in Dallardsville. She was a member of the Woodman of the World for 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ahi Moye, whom she married August 8,1953 in Alto, Texas. Her parents John and Hulda Allen, Daughter and son-in-law, Joann and MarshallAbsher.Survivors are her son James Smith of Colorado, Daughter-in-law, Beaulah Smith of Vidor,Texas, Daughters; Betty Sue Collins and husband Melvin of Dallardsville, Annie Ellen Smith of Onalaska.

Nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and a host of family and friends..

Pallbearers were family and friends. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Jerry Wood and nurses from Livingston Convalescent Center.
