Claude Palmer Carey, 79, went home to be with his Lord, Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009. He was born in Texas, to his parents, Claude Ernest Carey and the former Nancy Emiline Henthorne and was raised in Oklahoma and Arkansas. He served in the Korean War. He met and married Minnie Joyce Hutcheson August 16, 1954, in Star City, Ark., raised the family in Coos Bay, Ore., for 16 years, moved back to Arkansas for several years, then to Anchoarge, Alaska, for four years and finally settled in Klamath Falls in 1987.
