Mrs. Florence Hutchinson was the daughter of Samuel Wheeler Brewster and Hattie Margaret Mills.

She was educated at Thayer Kansas High School; University of Kansas; and Kansas Wesleyan University; She married Raymond Pickering Hutchinson on December 17, 1919 at Denver, Colorado;

From 1910-11, she was a rural school teacher in Kansas; 1911-17 teacher, Kanopolis, Kansas; 1917-19 stenographer, The Trans-Canadian Sanitarium, Dalhart Texas; 1919 stenographer, The Chicago Rock Island and Pacific Railway, Dalhart Texas; 1920-22 stenographer & bookkeeper for J.B. Byers, Denver; 1922-1940

Homemaker in Colo & Neb; in co-operation with DAR & other civic groups org Franklin Co Hist Museum; pres of Girls Club, sponsored bldg of gateway to city park; regent DAR; VP & past pres PEO; Franklin Co chairman ARC 6 years; chairman civic com Franklin Woman's Club; pres Franklin Co SS Assn; Congregational Church; pres So.
