Mrs. Violet J. Spence, age 88, of Ball Ground, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Peachtree Christain Hospice.
Funeral Service are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2008 from the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mark Henson and Rev. Troy Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park.
Mrs. Spence was a member of Goshen Baptist Church and a homermaker.
She was the daughter of the late Joe & Mae Yancey,
Survivors include her son, Bobby Spence of Canton, daughters, Faye Silvers of Jasper, Sandra Haynes of Ball Ground and Brenda Chambers of Jasper: brother, Lewis Yancey of Jasper; sister Alice Corbin of Jasper; 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive
