DEATH OF MRS. SOPHIA EATON
Mrs. Sophia May Eaton, age 39 years, wife of Chalmer Eaton, of near Kennard, died at childbirth Thursday at St. John's Hospital, Anderson. The bodies of the mother and son were taken to the funeral home of George McCarty in Fortville, where the funeral will take place Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Interment in Gravel Lawn cemetery.
The body of the little son was placed in the casket with the mother.
Surviving is the husband, and ten children, Mrs. Helen Kinnaman, of Anderson, Route 2; Mrs. Catherine Hilligoss, Anderson, Route 5; at home are Ruby, Audry, Earl, Max, Paul, Uva May, Chalmer Jr., and Joan; two brothers, Earl and Oarton Adams of South Bend, one sister, Mrs. Ruby Page of California.

*According to Sophia's death certificate, it states that she died from a uterine hemorrhage due to placenta previa. The baby boy also died.*
