Miss Mary Champion Dead
A very death occurred in Luling Friday night at 11 o'clock, when Miss Marie Champions young spirit passed to the Great Unknown.
Decedent was the second daughter of Mrs. Ella Champion and of the late Dr. N. Champion, and at the time of her death was only about 20 years of age. She had been a sufferer from tuberculosis for several months. The young lady had been a frequent visitor to this city, at the home of her uncle, Dr. J. W. Nixon and wife, and had a large circle of friends who are grieved to hear of her death. Dr. and Mrs. Nixon left Saturday afternoon for Luling to attend the funeral which occurred at 4 o'clock.
