Grandpa Summers died suddenly at the home of his son, George Summers, Sunday afternoon. He will be buried at Temperance Hill this afternoon.

Son of Nicholas &Susan (Bannister) Summer. Married 03/25/1848 Andrew Co. MO to Mary Ann Jones They had 14 children. William Wilson, Lydia Angeline, Susan Emmaline,Hester Ann, James Thomas, Mary Catherine,Martha Jane, Christopher Columbus jr, Sarah Nancy, Emily Elizabeth, John Riley, Josephine Cordelia, George Washington.
