Charlie Harden Keeton, Jr., age 46, husband of Kathy Smith Keeton, passed away August 5, 2010 in Duke University Hospital. He was born June 30, 1964 to Charlie Harden Keeton, Sr. (deceased) and Sally "Lizzie" Newton Keeton of Nelson. A graduate of Bluestone High School, Class of 1983, Charlie had been employed with Systems Contractors, Inc. in HVAC, for the last 25 years. He was a member of Nelson Baptist Church. In addition to his wife of 27 years and his mother, Mr. Keeton is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Alice and Troy Comer of Alton; son, Charlie Harden "C.T." Keeton, III of Nelson. His grandchildren, Skyler and Brooklyn Comer, and Jacob Keeton; brother, Mitchell Allen Keeton of Nelson; sisters, Regina Keeton Oakley of Oxford, NC, and Shirley Keeton Kaywood , of Nelson also survive.
