WILLIAM L. ALTENBACH

William L. Altenbach, 61, of 809 S. Atlantic died at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in St. Rita's Hospital following an extended illness.

Born in Lima Aug. 17, 1903***, he was a son of Oscar and Etta Altenbach. He was a former employe (sic) of the Nickel Plate Road (sic).

Surviving are his wife, Frances; three sons, Edward of 2196 Idlewild, William of 1408 Southwood and Ronald of Elida; a sister, Mrs. Richard (Lorene) Maxson of Toledo; four brothers, Robert of 1413 N. West, Raymond of 845 Fairview and Donald and Leo, both of Toledo, and several grandchildren.

He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Holy Name Society and the Catholic Order of Foresters.

Requiem High mass will be offered Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the church. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery.

Friends may call at Hogenkamp Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Saturday. The Holy Name Society and the Catholic Order of Foresters will recite the Rosary at 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
