Methvan Worthman Brown was the youngest son of John Brown and his wife Anna Wagoner Brown. Methvan married Sarah "Sadie" Slates, daughter of Jacob Slates and Sophia Cowen on 23 Jan 1876 at Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania.
