Mrs. Annie Hanks, widow of Benjamin Hanks, died at her home near Everett, June 9, 1921, aged 77 years, 4 months and 20 days. Interment in the Everett Cemetery last Sunday. Deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Amariah Akers, of Brush Creek township, this county, and lived where her nephew Hon. C.R. Akers now resides. Two sons and two daughters are living--Ernest and Barton Hanks, of Everett; Edna, wife of James Sproat, of Everett, and Lillian, wife of Charles Sproat, of West Chicago, Ill.
