Some sources have varying DOBs and DODs for Samuel J. Pollard. I would like to thank Connie Adams for the picture she had added to FAG of Samuel's gravestone - It was greatly appreciated.

Two other pictures of Samuel J. Pollard's gravestone have been posted at Ancestry.com. by Christie Moore and by Faye LeQuire - Fortunately, Christie and Faye were able to get photographs of Samuel's gravestone that show clearly Samuel's DOB inscribed on stone as Sept 22, 1831 and his DOD inscribed on stone as Mar 17, 1913.
