Adam Kutch Jr., 87, of Kittanning RD3, (East Franklin Township), died Wednesday, June 26, 2002 in his residence. He was born Sept. 1, 1914 in Furnace Run to Adam Sr. and Sophia (Carnicky) Kutch. Mr. Kutch was a retired coal miner employed by the Allegheny River Mining Company. He was a member of St. Mary Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. His other memberships included the Kittanning Elks, Eagles and Moose. An avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan, he enjoyed attending spring training in Bradenton, Fla. and playing euchre. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Margaret (Wolfe) Kutch, whom he married April 11, 1941; two sons, Ronald Kutch of Bradenton, Fla. and Herbert Kutch of Kittanning; two grandchildren, Ronald Kutch Jr. and Kim Kutch; and two brothers, Joseph Kutch and Vincent Kutch, both of Kittanning. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brother,s Frank, John, Steve and Paul Kutch; and four sisters, Kathryn Claypoole, Mary Odrechowski, Julia Mansa and Annie Durcan. KUTCH - Friends of Adam Kutch Jr., 87, of Kittanning RD3, (East Franklin Township), who died June 26, 2002, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home, Inc., 253 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning, where a Rosary Service will be at 3:30 p.m. and Parish Wake Service at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with his pastor, the Rev. Emily S. Payer, officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington. Arrangements by Kennedy & Blodgett.
