OBITUARY: Leola Pearl Jacobs Green was born the 28th day of August 1882 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Soon after, she moved with her parents to Heber City where her father operated a flour mill. She was baptized in the Provo River in Heber and soon thereafter returned to Salt Lake City where she spent most of her life.

She married Albert Moroni Green on May 23, 1905, and the marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple in June of 1920. They had four children: Raymont Albert, who passed away as a young boy; Leola May, who passed away March 22, 1953; and two sons still living--Wilbur Reed [who died in 1997] & Vaughn.

A sister, Lois [who died in 1974], survives her along with seven grandchildren and six great-grantchildren. Her husband preceded her in death on March 8, 1970.

She was an active LDS Church worker all her life, having been chosen as President of the YWMIA, Primary and Relief Society in her ward and stake.

She was a member of the ward choir for 50 years and was also a member of the Tabernacle Choir. She served as an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake Temple for 22 years.
