Mrs Barbara Jones Kellam, 40, of 105 Roslyn Dr, New Britain, Wife of David C Kellam, well known New Britain Real estate and Insurance Man, died at her home Tuesday Night after a long illness. Born in the city she was a member of Trinity Methodist Church, New Britain and Taught in the religious school at the church for many years
She was ion the board on the directors of The New Britain YMCA and held membership in The DAR and Shuttle Meadow Garden Club.
Besides her husband, she leaves three daughters, Linda L Kellam, Helen E Kellam, and Elizabeth Ann Kellam and a son James S Kellam, All of New Britain:
Her parents Mr and Mrs Milton D Jones of New Britain, and Three sisters, Mrs Robert Woods of Plainville, Mrs Eugene Neri of Kensington, and Mrs. Robert Peck of Branford.
The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Trinity Methodist Church and Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to The New Britain Cancer Society, The New Britain YMCA or the Memorial fund of the church. Th Porter Funeral Home of 19 Court St New Britain is in Charge of arrangements.
