Mr. Harnish was a lifelong farmer and an active member of Sunnyside Mennonite Church. In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by a daughter, June L., wife of Darrell Minnich, of Needham, MA; a son, John L. husband of Marsha (Hess) Harnish, of Quarryville; and daughter, Joy L. wife of Walter Schoenhals, of Archbold, OH; a brother Elvin Harnish of Willow Street; nine grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Tom is also predeceased by three brothers: Paul, Lloyd and Nelson.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 13, 2010 at Willow Street Mennonite Church, Hans Herr Dr. & Penn Grant Rd., Willow Street. Viewing will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, at the church and one hour prior to service on Friday also from the Willow Street Mennonite Church. Internment will follow the funeral service in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eastern Mennonite Missions, 53 W.
