OBITUARY-
Died: On the 28th ult., in the hospital in Chattanooga, Mr. Solon Satterlee, of the 1st Regiment of Mich. Mech. Eng., Co. B.
(Greenville Independent - March 16, 1864)

Born:Mt. McGregor, New York
Bio:
Company B, of the 1st Regiment of Engineers and Mechanics from Montcalm County. Married Harriett Melissa Hoffman in 1858 and had a daughter. He died of measles in the hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn. His remains were brought back to Greenville for burial by John Green, Jr and interred in the Satterlee family plot.
