Mrs. Rosa Chapin Remmele, widow of Gilbert B.Remmele, died this morning at 6 o'clock in the home of her daughter Mrs. R.T. Davis of 449 S. Winter Street. She had been in failing health for the last year.
Mre. Remmele was born, April 8, 1853 in Osseo, Hillsdale county, the daughter of Waite and Clarissa Chapin. She was married August 18,1874 to Mr. Remmele who preceded her in death in 1934. She was a member of the First Methodist Episcopal church of Adrian.
She is survived by three daughters Mrs. Davis of Adrian,Mrs. Fred E. Ash of Cleveland who has been with her mother the last week, and Mrs. Hugh M. Allen of Port Huron and one son Dalpha Remmele of Adrian. Nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive.
The funeral will be held in the Mott Funeral Home Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock wuth the Rev.J.W.Greenwood officiating.The burial will be in the family lot in the cemetery at Osseo.
