John M. Rader, 75, of North Arthur St., Kittanning, died at 5:10 p.m. Friday (August 6) in Clarion Hospital where he had been a patient for three days. His death was caused by an apparent heart attack. Mr. Rader was a coal miner most of his life. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of North Freedom United Methodist Church. Born January 12, 1896 in Clarion County, he was a son of John and Mary Jane (Swab) Rader. Four brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
RADER -- Friends of John M. Rader, who died August 6, 1971, are being received at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn until the time of service at 2 p.m. Tuesday (August 10) from the funeral home. Burial will follow in North Freedom Cemetery, Ringgold Twp., Jefferson County. Arrangements by Alcorn.
