James married Susan Prindall October 5,1823.Their four children James Jr.Susan,Edwin and Robert were all born in West Newbury Massachusetts.James died at the age of 48.
Susan was named guardian of their children after James'
death.The inventory of James' estate included a quarter part of a grist mill and a saw mill at Goose Cove, Gloucester Massachusetts.
