Chrum, Joseph J. (1937 2010) Dad doesn't want a eulogy, but he was so important to us that it doesn't feel right sending him off without saying something. He didn't pity; he didn't judge; he didn't offer advice. He took responsibility for his own actions, stood firm for what he believed in and never gave up. Rich or poor didn't matter; what Dad wanted was to be surrounded by family. Together he and Mom made that dream come true. Please join our family in celebrating life as we honor Joseph Chrum, known to so many as "Duke". His journey here over, Dad joined his mother Sarina, his father John, his brother Salvatore and his best friend, Phil Brusca, on August 6, 2010. He was 72. Thank you for keeping us in your hearts and prayers. Your support during this journey has been amazing. With much love and gratitude Maureen, Janice, Tim, Donna, Robert, Beth, Victoria, Christina, Matthew, Dan, JJ, Connor, Ryan, Logan, Daniel, Dylan, Reyna and Kayla. Services: The family is being served by The BAUE Funeral Home, 620 Jefferson Street, St. Charles, MO, where visitation will be held Sunday, August 8, 2010, from 4:00-8:00. Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 9, 2010, at 11:00 AM, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 610 North Fourth Street, St. Charles, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to a charity of choice. Share your condolences and memories at baue.com
