Eunice E. Baker Daman Felton White Oak Township Age 87, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. She was born on March 2, 1921 in Webberville, Michigan the daughter of Howard and Agnes (McFarland) Wainright. Eunice, and Wayne's Family, was the co-owner of the Millville Store since 1946, purchasing the store from the Wilcox family. A former member of the Millville United Methodist Church where she was involved in United Methodist Womens, and sang in the choir. She was a former elections board day committee participant of White Oak Township, and past secretary for the North West Stockbridge Cemetery and the Extension Club. She was a member of Vantown Community Church and enjoyed sewing, knitting, yard work, gardening crosswords and bird watching. Surviving are three daughters, Carolyn (John) Sullivan of Lansing, Ellen (Skip) Stanton of Williamston, and Mary Lou (Gaylord) Risch of Williamston; seven stepchildren; six grandchildren, Tara (Dan) Brooks, Rodney Pfiester, Brandon (Crystal) Waggoner, Derik Waggoner, Christopher Stanton, Paul (Kara) Stanton; many stepgrandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, Joshua, Meranda, Jordan, Quinn, Baylee, Emily, Lily, Grant, Ava; many step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by three husbands, Wayne J. Baker, Harry Daman, and Maurice Felton; one brother, Raymond Wainright; one sister, Alta Stowe; and one grandson, Ronald Pfiester. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from the Vantown Community Church with the Rev. Terry Turner officiating. Burial will follow at North West Stockbridge Cemetery, White Oak Township. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Millville United Methodist Church or the Vantown Community Church. The family will receive friend at the Caskey-Mitchell Funeral Home, Stockbridge on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. also at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
