Erslie Beulah Sites

Erslie Beulah (Bergdall) Sites, 85, of Petersburg died Monday, July 19, 2010, at her home.

She was born April 2, 1925, in Rough Run and was the daughter of the late Edward Silas Bergdall and Ella Mae (Propst) Bergdall.

Her husband, Earl Lee Sites, preceded her in death in 1958.

Mrs. Sites was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving are two sons, Alva Lee Sites of Petersburg and Jerry E. Sites and wife, Janet of Cabins; one granddaughter, Kimberly Dawn (Sites) Roy and husband, Jamie of Old Fields.

She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Clarence, Carl, Forest and Leland Bergdall; and one sister, Bertha Cleaver.

Funeral services will be held today at 11:00 a.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home, Petersburg, with Pastor Lynn Durbin officiating. Interment will be in North Fork Memorial Cemetery, Riverton.

Memorials may be made to Mountain Hospice, PO Box 416, Franklin, WV 26807 or Grant County Commission on Aging, 111 Virginia Avenue, Petersburg, WV 26847.

The family received friends Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
