Mrs. McFann was born May 5, 1866 near Powellsville, O. and would have been 66 years of age May 5 of this year. In August 1880 she was married to Dustin W. Gustin, who preceded her in death in March, 1914. Mr. Gustin was a former sheriff of Scioto County. Three children survive, Mrs. Edith Seymour and Mrs. Garnet Brown of this city, and Dustin W. Gustin of Seattle, Washington, who was a former prosecuting attorney of the county. In addition to her children. Mrs. McFann also leaves five grandchildren.
In April 1927, Mrs. Gustin was married to David E. McFann, who survives her and now living in Iola, Ka. She was a member of the Trinity M. E. church, of Mrs. Edgar Mann's Sunday school class, the Ladies Aid, the Home Missionary society and the Eastern Star.
Mrs. McFann had been a life long resident of Scioto county and made many close friends by her qualities of cheerfulness, sympathy and kindness. For many years she was a practical nurse and those who had her in their service always a developed a most sincere and warm affection because of these outstanding attributes. No task was too difficult or too long drawn out for her continual vigilance and care.
Mrs. McFann was taken ill a week ago and complications caused her death. Funeral services will be under the direction of Louis Ted Hacquard.
