The Regiment fought battles or skirmishes in Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Alabama and Mississippi. He mustered out on 6 Sep 1865 at Indianapolis, Indiana. He married Mary Robertson on 2 Jan 1868 and they had five children.
