TABOR CITY-Charlie H. Norris, 82, retired farmer of Route 3. died suddenly Friday in the Community Hospital Loris, S. C., following a heart attack at his home. A native of Columbus County he was a son of the late Berry Norris and Mary Patrick Norris. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 11 a.m. from the Sandy Plain Baptist Church, where he was a member. Burial will follow in the Norris Cemetery. Norris was first married to Ellen Faulk, who died in 1945. From this union six sons survive, Clyde, Floyd, Robbie and Lacy Norris of Route 3. Tabor City, Paul and Henry Norris of Tabor City. Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Ella Ray of Route 3. Tabor City, Mrs. Lola Hardee of Lumberton, Mrs. Hattie Carter and Mrs. Effie J. Caines of Loris; 18 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; and his wife Mrs. Frances Doreath Norris of Route 1. Loris.
