Miss Smith Dies At Fond du Lac
Kiel—Miss Alicia Smith, former resident of Sheboygan County, passed away Monday evening at the St. Agnes hospital, Fond du Lac. The body was brought to the Meiselwitz Funeral home here and will lay in state from Wednesday noon to Thursday morning when services will be held at St. Ann's Catholic church at St. Anna, the Rev. C. P. Kern officiating. Burial will be made in the Church cemetery.

St. Anna – Funeral services were held Thursday at St. Ann's Catholic church for Alicia Smith, who passed away at a Fond du Lac hospital this week. The Rev. Clemens Kern officiated and interment was in the adjoining cemetery in the family lot. Pallbearers were two nephews and four grandnephews; Harry and Norman Smith, Edward Premo, Earl Kohlman, and John and Pat Cain, Jr.
Miss Smith was born in the town of Russell in 1864, the daughter of the late Alice and George Smith. She resided here until after her father's death, when she moved to Plymouth in 1910. After selling her home there in 1938, she changed her residence to Fond du Lac. A brother, Charles, and a sister, Mrs. Annie Cain, preceded her in death.
Immediate survivors are nine nieces and nephews, all were present at the services; Mrs. John Harkins of Portage, George and Harry Smith and Pat Cain of Russell, Mrs. Ralph Kohlman of Cascade, Mrs. Ed Schmidt, Valeria Premo, and Jennie Cain of Milwaukee, and Norman Smith of Sheboygan.
