Mrs. Turner had moved to Houston to be with her family for the past year. She was resident of Crestview for 33 years before moving to Houston.
She was a member of the Crestview Church of God and will always be remembered as a praying warrior with such a sweet spirit about her. She always had a kind word for everyone. She will be truly missed by her church family and friends. She attended Metropolitan Baptist Church in Houston.
She is survived by her only daughter, Darlene Buoy and son-in-law Bill Buoy, her granddaughter, Shannon Bishop, her grandson, Quinn Bishop, Quinn's wife, Megan, and great-grandson, Graham Bishop.
A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Services will be in the Brackney Funeral Services chapel on Tuesday, Aug. 10, at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Barrancas National Cemetery.
