About 1,800 kilometers north-east of New Guinea, it is located mid-ocean at 7 degrees North latitude and is part of Chuuk State within the Federated States of Micronesia]. I think during a bombing raid over Truk Atoll, his plane must have crashed and sunk in the ocean. He is recorded as missing in action on a Manila Philippines memorial. His memory shall never be forgotten. May God take care of all those men who didn't get to come back home."
