Beulah Lasta Roach McDonald was the daughter of John E. Roach and Viola J. Dye Roach. She married Horace Harvey McDonald and had one daughter, Betty Jean McDonald Burdette. She worked as a nurse at Sylacauga Hospital, now Coosa Valley Baptist Medical Center.
She was a much loved mother and grandmother. To this day, her grandchildren can not speak her name without smiling. Her family meant everything to her, and she meant everything to her family. She passed away in her home after a long illness with lung cancer. When she left, she left behind a wonderful legacy.
