Funeral servives were at the Methodist Church,
where he had been a devout member and took
an active interest serving as steward for over 40
years (he was trustee there for almost as long).
He was held in the highest esteem. The order of
service was led by his pastor, the Reverend B. H.
Covington, as well as the pastor of the Baptist
church, Reverend W. L. Adams. Mr. Jeffcoat was
interred in the Norway Cemetery with Masonic
honors and many, lovely floral designs covered
his grave. Mr. Jeffcoat was held in highest esteem
by all.
