GILMER- Funeral services for Mrs. Martine Mae McLendon, 63, of Rt. 5, Gilmer, were held Monday afternoon in the Loyd Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. C.L. Townlin and the Rev. C.M. Bowen officiated. Burial was in Maddox Cemetery.
Mrs. McLendon died Saturday night in a Gilmer hospital after a long illness.
A Native and lifelong resident of Upshur County. she was a member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Doyle McLendon, a sister, Mrs. Mamie Hart of Gilmer; two brothers, Howard Cravey of Dallas and Johnny Cravey of Pittsburg.
