Wife of Joseph Bax.
Mrs. Anna Bax passed away at her home at Koeltztown on Sunday, Nov. 28, 1954 at 9:45 PM after an illness of three years. She was 78 years, one month and 15 days old. She was born at Koeltztown October 13 1876 and lived in that community all her life. She was a daughter of Theodore Brunnert and Dorothy Henke Brunnert. She was married to Joseph Bax (who preceded her in death on Jan. 15, 1952) on May 25, 1897 at Koeltztowh by the Rev. H. Kellersman. She was a life long member of St. Boniface Church at Koeltztown and belonged to the Married Ladies Sodality of that parish.
She is survived by the following children: Theodore of the home, Adolph, Hugo and Mathias of St. Louis, Alfred of Koeltztown, Isadore of Jefferson City, Mrs. William Bax and Mrs. August Bax of Koeltztown. There are 17 grandchildren, 3 half brothers and 5 half sisters as follows: Joe Brunnert and George Brunnert of St. Louis, Peter Brunnert of Argyle, Miss Elizabeth Brunnert of Koeltztown, Miss Ida Brunnert and Mrs. Joe Wulff of Argyle, Miss Dove Wildhaber of St. Louis and sister M. landeline, SSND of Illmo, Missouri. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Dcember 1, 1954 at 9 AM at St. Boniface church with Rev. R.C. Kellersman officiating.
