Dennis--John Daniel Adair, 90, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1978, at the Iuka Hospital.
He was the son of the late Dan and Talitha Barrett Adair. He was a farmer and the husband of the late Lou Lelia Adams Adair who died in 1953.
Services were at 2 p. m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church near Tishomingo with burial in the Dean Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home of Belmont was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include 4 daughters, Shelia Ward of Baldwyn, Flossie Crosby of Dennis, Reba Parsons of Wiggins, and Louise Credille of Belmont; one son, Josh Adair of Hodgkins, IL; two sisters, Lovie Aldridge of Booneville and Alice Cox of Portageville, MO.
He is also preceded in death by 4 sons, Douglas Adair, John Grover Adair, an infant son, and John Daniel Adair, Jr., and by one daughter, Flonnie A. Pardue.
Visitation was at the Crosby residence.
