Mrs. Edna Lee Scull Hemler, 80, Carlsbad, NM, died Saturday at her residence. She
was a homemaker.
Survivors include one daughter, Wanda Jolly Richardson of Germantown, TN; one son,
Richard Eugene Jolly of Jacksonville, FL; five sisters, Luella Godwin of Dyess, Imogene
Rule of Carlsbad and Leona Griffin, Nora Faye Pitts and Norma Jo Day, all of Marked
Tree; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Helmer, three sisters and three
brothers.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon at Marked Tree Cemetery,
with the Rev. Dennis Neenan officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening and from 9 to 11 Wednesday morning at Murphy
Funeral Home in Marked Tree.
The family requests memorials be made to Wesley Senior Ministries Foundation, 400 S.
Highland St., Memphis, TN.
