Ben P. Redding

Funeral services for Ben P. Redding, 75, of Holiday Hill, Frankston, were held Sunday, February 2, at 1:30 p.m. in Bailey & Foster Chapel in Palestine with the Rev. George Folmar officiating.

Burial was in the Wofford Cemetery, Frankston.

Mr. Redding was born December 14, 1910 in Henderson County, the son of William Daniel Redding and Nora Thomas Redding.

He died Friday, January 31, at 10:59 a.m. in the Iniversity of Texas Health Center, Tyler, following a brief illness.

He served in the U.S. Army. A federal civil service employee, he was a combat vehicle mechanic. He was a member of the Hilltop Baptist Church at Holiday Hill.

Survivers include his wife, Jessie Pauline Redding, of Holiday Hill; a daughter, Rita Redding Castleberry, of Tyler; a son, Ben Paul Redding Sr., of Frankston; a sister, Nancy Redding Killebrew, of Frankston; a brother, Alfred Redding, of Greenville; two grandsons, John Christopher Redding and Ben Paul Redding Jr.; and serveral nieces and nephews,
