Frederick served as a Private, 517th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 13th Airborne Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Wayne County, Michigan prior to the war.

Frederick was "Killed In Action" in France during the war.

He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Service # 36599951

It has been noted that Frederick's final words were " I'm sorry I let you fellows down "!
