William F. Dunn, 83, of Amboy died Friday at Francisco Rest Home, Camden, after a long illness.

Mr. Dunn was a life resident of Amboy. He retired as principal of Williamstown Elementary School and also had taught in Camden. Mr. Dunn was a graduate of Camden High School and the Oswego Normal School.

Mr. Dunn was a member of the Amboy Center United Methodist Church and New York State Teachers Assocation. He was a founder of the Amboy 4-H Environmental Center and was a former Boy Scout and 4-H leader.

Surviving are two sisters, Marion Dunn and Katie Alger, both of Amboy; two nieces; and a nephew.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Amboy Center United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown. Post-Standard, The (Syracuse, NY ) - November 9, 1991
