Hickner Child Expires After Brief Illness
Philip Anthony, 4-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. jerry Hickner, residing at 2735 North C street, died at 5 o'clock this morning of pneumonia, after an illness of two weeks.
The babe was born November 21, 1936, and was the only child in the family.
The many friends will extend sympathy to the parents in their bereavement.
The body was removed to the Copher and Fesler Funeral Home and prepared for burial. This evening the body will be removed to the home of the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Perry Jackson, 826 North Fourteenth street. Funeral services will be conducted at the St. Joseph's Church Saturday morning at 10 o'clock with the pastor, Father N.C. Huemmer, in charge. Burial will follow in the Catholic cemetery.

LOST BABY BOY.
Relatives Advised of Death of Phillip Hickner at Elwood.
Relatives here received word Thursday morning of the death of Phillip Hickner, four-months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Hickner, the father being a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hickner, former Tipton residents. The baby died of pneumonia after a short illness.
The message stated the little one died at 5:00 o'clock Thursday morning and that services would be held at the St. Joseph's Catholic church in Elwood at 10:00 o'clock Saturday morning, with Rev. Nicholas Heummer officiating. Interment will be in the St. Joseph's cemetery at Elwood.
Phillip was the only child of Jerome and Edith (Jones) Hickner, the mother being a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jones of East fourteenth street in Elwood, where the little body was taken to await services.
Friends may call at the Jones resident on East Fourteenth street at any time prior to the services.
