Richard Alonzo Meador's father was R.G.G. Meador, son of Ira Meador who was born Dallas Co Al died in Scott Co MS. Ira's wife was Elizabeth Johnson,
R.G.G. wife was Sarah Elizabeth McDonald they married in Sumter Co Al in 1848 and he died Port Hudson, La , Have not found a grave he was in CSA.
They were living in Pike Co Ark when he went in service. Sarah parents lived in Sumter Co Al , after R.G.G. death she brought her family back to Sumter Co Al. She and 2 dau's buried in unmarked graves .R.A. showed his children where, and his oldest dau showed me where. North of Cuba, Al.
